Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • The text uses the reference system from Chicago Manual of Style.
  • The paper should be written in English and carefully checked for spelling and grammar before submission.

Author Guidelines

RAIS Journal for Social Science is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal that will be online and print twice a year. The publication language of the journal is English. The manuscripts must be sent as an email with attached files to j.submission.rais@gmail.com or using the online submission system. 

The authors are responsible for the content of the manuscript published; opinions put forward, the correctness of the references and figures, and the visuals with copyright.

The manuscripts received undergo a rigorous peer review, based on initial section editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two independent referees. In the case of one of the referees' view being positive and the other's negative, the manuscript is sent to a third referee, and a step is taken according to the third referee's review. The text uses the reference system from Chicago Manual of Style.  Please also see the Journal Template.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms: RAIS Journal of Social Sciences is given by the author the right of the first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal. If the author cites from his own article published in RAIS Journal of Social Sciences, then he is encouraged to cite the name of the RAIS Journal of Social Sciences, volume, and page.
